they brought in my comfy spot. Now this does not usually happen so I took a good walk around it to make sure that it really was my comfy spot and that everything was well.
We did make it to the truck for a little bit, but the truck never made that loud noise that states we are on our way for an adventure. Nevertheless I was a happy kitty because I was outside my house on wheels even if for a short time.

We did make it down to a fishing hole. Make sure you do not confuse that for a good hidey hole. This place was noisy with cars driving by disturbing my play time. But always near me was my comfy spot.
It just happened to be how we took our walk this week. I think I could get accustomed to walking like this. The people do all the work and I get to enjoy the outdoors. This is my favorite way to walk.
Meowrrrr,
Until next time.

That's really cool that you take your cat for a walk, Sarah. My cat is an indoor cat, and she used to be terrified of going outside. I adopted her as an adult so I don't know how that fear developed. Now, however, when I let my golden retriever Savanna out in the backyard, my cat Chessie will go out and do a little exploring too. Chessie never really goes past the patio, but she seems to enjoy sniffing around and laying out in the sun.
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat way to go for a walk. Did you see any fish at the fishing hole while you were on your walk? That seems like a great reason to go walking.
ReplyDeleteWe did see fish. He caught three fish on his fishing rod toy.
DeleteHi, Shadow! Nice to meet you. that's a great adventure you went on.
ReplyDeleteYou lead such an exciting life, Shadow! Be careful in the Texas rains.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a really fun day! I hope that the rain clears up for you soon so you can go out on your kayak. We are finally getting a little sun up here in Michigan! Manna is loving her time out on the balcony. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!

I'm thinking about trying to get Luxie to walk on a leash. Not sure how that is going to go!
ReplyDeleteI was nearly three when I learned about harnesses and leashes. My people started getting me acquainted with the harness first. Then added the leash a few weeks later. Take the plunge. Have an adventure. MOL!

Looks like you had some male bonding time, Shadow.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got to have some adventure.
ReplyDeleteI think there are other fishy holes that may be more peaceful and if you have your comfy spot, wow it could be a grand adventure
