Austin Kayak and Canoe Demo Days 2016

Everything was happening like we were going to play today.  I was excited and ready to go.  My harness went on and it was time, time to play in the kayak toy.  Ummmm, but we were in the car and there was no kayaks to play on.  I was very confused why they would say we are playing on the kayak toy, but there was no toys going with us.  Sometimes these people confuse me.

When we got out of the car there were lots of people to meet and an entire lake of all different kinds of kayak toys.  I got to paw my way from kayak to kayak until I was so tired I asked the people to get going so we can ride on some of these toys and rest my tired paws.

After getting the leash, the jackets, the paddle, and all the other necessary stuffs the humans require it was time to play.  There were sooooo many friendly people who were around just to give me an ear scratching that I could hardly stand myself.  Usually we go play on the kayak toys and it is just the three of us.  Never had I seen so many people here to play on the kayak toys like we do.  There was no fishing today, but that was OK.  With all the people there was enough to keep up occupied.

I could have stayed there all day, but eventually it was time to go get me some dinner. There is always time for one more ride and one more kayak toy to ride on.  What fun, what fun.

I wonder if this is why the humans have been leaving me at home on occasion to meet all these kind people who are devoted to giving me petting.  If this is true then they can never leave me again!!

With all the new people, children and dogs I met during the day my most favorite part of the entire day was meeting puppy.  Puppy wanted to play with me, but he was just to energetic for me after such a busy day.  The video below is me meeting puppy.

Until the next adventure,
Meowrrrr,
Shadow the kayakcat
Sarah the human.

    1. Take me with them. MOL! I demand to go. When I do not get to go I hide from them until I am satisfied they understand my point of view. I was born a barn cat and I have always loved being outdoors. :)
