Giving Kitty A Bath

So one of the ways to get Stealth ready for the water is to give him a bath.  Water baths also make a cat look handsome just as a side note. Oh, yeah!  Bath time.  So Stealth got his first bath at our house on wheels then I got a bath just to look handsome.

He was not sure of the whole water thing at first.  He is a small kitten so he needed a lot of reassurance.

Since the water was warm he was ok with it until he decided he had enough sitting still time and wanted to get out of the tub and play.

After a good watering down and wring out it was time for the drying part.  Which is the worst part because all you can do is sit still.
The she type always wraps us up tight like babies, maybe because she worked with babies for so many years.  It is comforting in a strange way..

Then it was my turn.  I had to show the young Stealth how it was done.  Plus I had to look handsome.

A nice soak to scare all the flees away from this handsome cat.

Now the she type was waiting for me to be done.  I was soooooooo comfortable I had to relax for just a bit longer.

At drying time Stealth had to come check it all out to see if we both got the same treatment.  Yep, I smelled just like he did which was a good thing because I like him better now that he smells more like me.

Maybe this weekend we will get to introduce Stealth to my kayak toy.  Grrrrrrrr, do I want to share my kayak toy?

Until next time,
Meworrrr,
Sarah, Shadow, and Stealth.

Thank you Blogpaws, and Create With Joy for letting me join your group and find new friends.

  1. Wow, that looked so easy. Mom doesn't even want to think about bathing any of us. She's had very bad results with past kitties. XOCK Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  3. Both of you are so handsome! I'm glad that Stealth did well through his first bath. I suppose getting used to water is important for a kayak kitty. It was nice of you to be so patient with your mommy during baths.

    1. Oh, getting a bath helps us understand water is not always scary. It also helps the he types allergies. MOL!

  4. Cats and Baths!! They certainly don't appear to mind at all - and that wrapping technique is what we do with warm towels and the doxies! The pics are great and sweet!

    1. SELF CLEANING yes, but baths help us understand water is not always scary, and a water bath helps decrease cat dander which the he type is a sensative/allergic to.

  7. You two were so much more patient getting a bath than we would ever be. We'll stick to self-cleaning.

  8. What a good sport. I am pretty sure Rosie would not take so kindly to a bath!
