A Traumatic Gift

So I was minding my own business when what do you know the  she type rearranged our house.  Now, considering we live in a small house on wheels there is not much to rearrange, but she brought in a comfy spot bigger than I have ever been in.  What could she be doing with the big comfy spot.  She told me it was a gift for me.  For me?  A gift?  She said my gift would be here tonight.  Hmmmm.  What gift did she get me?

The gift she brought home was a cruel, horrible thing.  All I wanted to do at first was hiss, and growl and tell the thing he was in my house.  This house on wheel was not big enough for two cats and since I was already here he HAD to go.  No matter how much I complained the people did not get rid of him.

I stared him down, gave him a growl and a complaint every time I saw him.  This must be the absolute worst day of my life.  Such a horrible invasion of my territory.

The he type came home from work and I tried to explain to him what the issue  was and before I knew it the new kitty and the he type were best friend.  What?  My safety net failed me.  He agreed with the she type and the new thing stayed.  He said I would slowly begin to like the new kitty.  It would take a while, but we would become best friends.  Now the only cats I have ever been around is ferrell cats.  A friend was an interesting concept, but he was invading MY territory.

After a night of sleep and a full belly life was a little better, but I still was not happy about this invasion in my space, but it did not seem quite as horrible as it was the first day.

On the third day the craziest thing happened.  The new kitten played with me.  I had someone to help me get out all my energy.  Now that was something news.  Both the people were busy, but me and kitty were playing with each other.  Maybe this gift would not be so horrible after all.  I think I can handle one more week of this gift the people call Stealth.

Until the next adventure,
Meowrrrr,

Sarah, and Shadow

  8. That is quite the gift! I hope that you and Stealth can become friends soon. I surprised Manna with a similar gift. It took her a few weeks to think that Dexter was an okay friend. You two are cute together!

  11. Yay! You're so kind to accept a newbie in need. You'll have to share your space AND your heart, and it looks like you're well on the way to doing both!

  12. Shadow, there are so many great things about having a brofur. There's always someone to help you wash the spot on you head that you missed. High paws, from the Chirpy Cats xx
